Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #4 : Happy Birthday Jen!

I'm back with my 4th project for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I'm a bit behind on how many projects I would have liked to have linked up by now...life gets in the way of crafty goodness.  That's okay, yesterday I spent most of the day with a bunch of crafty friends and we always have fun.

Speaking/typing of crafty friends, this card is for one of my local crafty friends that is celebrating her birthday today!  Jen is such a Flora & Fauna fan that I wanted to feature their images!

I combined the Glass Dome + Birthday Set stamps.  That to go cup is from Impress - Small Coffee Cup.

Everything has been stamped with Versafine Onyx and watercolored.

We're so happy to have both Flora & Fauna along with Impress as Super Sponsors for the Winter Hop!

Fa la la la - Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop #3

We're on Day Three of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I'm popping in super quick to share my card with you!

I've been smitten with all the Llama goodness out there.  Check out the Neat and Tangled's super cute Fa La Llama I teamed it up with the adorable Beary Merry!  All of the images are nestled onto the Classic Tag 1 that has been cut with vellum.  I'm a fan of vellum so it doesn't take away from a design, this time the fun paper.  All the images have been colored with copics.

Hope you've been taking in all of the hop inspiration, because there is a ton of it!

CAS-ual Fridays: Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 1 - post 2

Hello!  This is my second hop post for today!  I was so thrilled when Michele Gross of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps reached out to me about a super special release just for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Here's how I played with Peace, Love & Coffee:

I love it when designers stamp out multiple images in multiple inks....think ---> May Sukyong Park.  This is a true one layer card.  I gotta tell you, I don't do those much even though I do consider my style Clean + Simple.  You'll see me dabbling with this technique more.  So many of my holiday cards are super bumpy.  I need to make more postal friendly designs!

This set is a CAS-ual Fridays web exclusive that you can only find at CAS-ual Fridays and it will retail for $7.50 BUT for the duration of the hop it will be just $5 no code needed, while supplies last!

Please visit the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps blog for more info + inspiration.  So thrilled to have them as one of our Super Sponsors!

Here's my project for today's hop!

Oh my goodness...I knew I had to combine the ultra adorable Llama Delivery with Cup Of Cocoa!  The sweet llama has been stamped and copic colored.  The mug was stamped, copic colored and then die cut and adhered to the top of the stack 'o gifts.  I was going to mask but meh, I didn't have to.

Pink + Green = Yes, Please!

Oh yes, that strip of patterned paper has LLAMAS on it...eep.  How could I resist?  Thanks to my friend Jen Shears for picking up that paper pad for me!  I love it so much that I was thrilled when my friend Kerry McDaniel said she found it for me too!

In case you missed me on the Newton's Nook Designs blog on Monday, here's a peek at just some my projects:

Reverse Confetti December Blog Hop!

Today is the 8th of the month which means the Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!

You should have arrived here from Heather Hoffman's awesome blog!  If not, you'll want to start at the beginning of the fun which is the Reverse Confetti blog!

This month Laurel Seabrook as our 'Fetti Friend!

I had so much fun designing my project.  I have to tell you that I enjoy working with non-traditional holiday colors:

The Hula Girl Coffee packaging determined today's hop color palette!  Let's start with the card first:

My base is Dark Roast and the pattern paper is from the Every Little Bit 6x6 paper pad.  I used the larger wreath from the Wreaths confetti cuts.  Love it in BrickCaffeinated Cups was stamped in Dark Roast with a coordinating Brick sleeve.  I doubled up the Snowflake Trio and topped it off with an enamel dot from my stash.  The sentiment is from A Friend Like You.

My card was inspired by the December SFYTT:

So pleased that those packets of coffee fit in the Treat Tubes!

The Treat Tube Topper has been cut from Dark Roast.  The Creative Fuel cup from Just Brew It has been stamped in Sunshine.  I used it like a tag, and bowed it with twine.

Did you know that the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop starts today at 6:00 am pacific?  Reverse Confetti is one of our Super Sponsors!

That's it for me!  I can't wait to hop around and see how my teamies were inspired!

Happy Birthday Lisa!

I'm happily a part of a group of friends that are all from the Pacific Northwest that celebrate each other birthdays!  Today we're celebrating the lovely Lisa Lara's  Birthday!  I'm the start of the Happy Birthday Hop!

Lisa, we miss you!  It's been awhile since we've gotten together with Lisa but thankfully we have FB!  Lisa is so sweet and fun to be around!  Can't wait until we can craft again Girlie!

So now you'll understand the sentiment I decided to use on my card :)

I haven't inked up my Paper Smooches in a bit so I decided to play with:

You probably can't tell but the Coverlet has been cut and backed in cork.  I love how much texture and personality it adds to a design!

My card was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch!

Here's the hop listing for today!  Remember to stop at Lisa's place to post Birthday Wishes!

WHEW!  Now onto the projects!  Today I'm sharing a couple cards.  Here's my first card:

This is a combo of the Main Kit (the stars), City Skyline Fancy Die + Magical Nights Messages.

I love how the sky turned out...messy but not too messy.  I splattered white paint onto it.  The City Skyline is awesome, love the detail work, don't you?

Up next is a clean + simple card that is made exclusively with stamps from December's kit:

Although you can't really tell by my photo, the sand dunes have been quickly watercolored.  The camel has been stamped with Pumpkin Pie Mid-Tone Shadow ink and die cut.  He's been popped up on foam dimensionals.  The camel silhouette images have been masked so that I only included what would 'fit' into my design.

This type of card would be a great masculine card.

Before you go, I did want to share a project that I made especially for a Countdown to Creativity post:

Yes, it's a large contrast to today's card, isn't it?  That was the main reason I went super clean + simple for today's project.

That's it for me today...I can't wait to hop around and check out how everyone was inspired.  Next up is the awesome Janette Kausen!
